Global Closure Systems has unveiled its new cleanroom ISO 7 at its Astra Plastique factory in France during a dedicated "Pharma Day" before exhibiting its latest product development at CPhI.


GCS has invested almost € 1 million in a second ISO 7 cleanroom in France to meet customers’ needs. To celebrate the completion of this project, GCS organized a “Pharma Day” event on October 3rd to unveil its new cleanroom.


More than 50 partners from all over the world including global pharmaceutical companies, agents, distributors, bottle suppliers, and also journalists participated in this special day. The event was marked by a tour of the factory and a presentation of GCS’ expertise and its strategy in relation to the healthcare market with a focus on the group’s latest product developments.


The group confirmed its determination to continue to growth in the healthcare market by 2017. In order to reinforce its leading position in this market, GCS has built a sustainable growth strategy based on 3 pillars: highest quality standards, increase of production capacity and new product development.


Thanks to the construction of this new cleanroom, the third for the Group, GCS surpasses the pharmaceutical industry standards and takes the lead by anticipating future increasing demands and market requirements.



In addition GCS has developed new innovative concepts which were exhibited at CPHI Paris (7-9 October 2014) such as Flip-Loc, a single piece CRC for pills, powders or liquids, Lite-Loc, a light weight CRC and Cyrano, a bi-injected perfusion bottle closure…
